Today, three of our Panthers officially took the next step in their academic and athletic journeys by signing their National Letters of Intent!
✨ Sophie – Cheer at William Woods University
⚾️ Raeson – Baseball at John Wood Community College
⛳️ Skeeter – Golf at Mineral Area College
We are so proud of these student-athletes and all the hard work, dedication, and Panther spirit they have shown.
Congratulations to each of them as they prepare to compete at the collegiate level! 🧡🖤🎓

On November 22nd, they hosted their annual Panther Pride Dance Clinic for elementary and middle school students — and what a turnout! Sixty dancers from preschool through 5th grade joined in the fun.
In keeping with this year’s Mamma Mia theme, students were divided into groups and learned choreography to songs from the movie’s soundtrack. They even wrapped up the evening with a classic favorite…the Chicken Dance!
The evening also featured two routines performed by the Panther Pride Dance Team, a performance from the Culver-Stockton dancers, and a brand-new segment, Grown-Ups and Me, where dancers performed “Slipping Through My Fingers” with a special adult in their lives — a truly heartwarming moment.
After a full morning of learning and rehearsing, the dancers returned that night to perform for an audience full of cheering family and friends. They also enjoyed snapping photos with everyone’s favorite mascot, Pete the Panther. 🐾
The Panther Pride Dance Team also marched in the Palmyra Lighted Parade! 🧡🖤✨
To top off an already exciting couple of weeks, four Panther Pride dancers — Dannah, Addie, Lydia, and Paige — are traveling to Hawaii to march in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade. We are so proud of them for representing Palmyra on such a meaningful national stage! 🇺🇸✨

Today (and every day!) we honor our amazing special-education teachers, paras, therapists, support staff, and administrators who go above and beyond for our students. 💪📚
Your passion, creativity, and dedication help every child feel seen, valued, and capable of achieving greatness. ✨
Thank you for making our school community stronger and more inclusive. We appreciate you — SO much! 🧡🖤👏

Palmyra FFA Farm to Table students led an exciting Ag on the Move day for our 3rd graders on Tuesday! They taught fun, interactive lessons on poultry 🐔, soybeans 🌱, dairy 🐄, and corn 🌽, giving students a chance to explore key parts of agriculture.
Throughout the day, 3rd graders:
• Examined eggs 🥚 and sampled hard-boiled eggs
• Prepared a seed for germination to take home 🌱
• Made plastic out of cornstarch 🌽
• Completed activities from the Ag on the Move manual 📘
• Did the Chicken Dance 🐔💃
• Had some shake shake shake fun while making butter 🧈🎶🐄
• And wrapped up the day with a Blooket game to reinforce everything they learned! 🎮💡
A huge thank you to PES, our FFA students 👩🌾👨🌾, and Mrs. Haeberlin for creating such a memorable day of learning! 🧡🖤🚜
🍂🦃 Happy Thanksgiving, Panther families! 🥧
Tuesday was a day filled with thankfulness, friendship, and teamwork across our schools. Many of our classes had special activities and celebrations and it was heartwarming to be able to witness two of those gatherings!
Mrs. Wilson’s class celebrated with a classroom Friendsgiving, bringing in their favorite treats to share with classmates and teachers. Special guests — Mrs. Augspurg, Mrs. Duppong, Mrs. Hoerr, and Mrs. Moorman — even joined in on the fun and helped make the gathering extra special.
Meanwhile, Ms. Morris’ classes took on a breakout box escape room challenge! Students worked together to solve puzzles, think outside the box, and unlock a series of physical locks to reach the final prize.
We are grateful for moments like these that bring our students together and showcase their giving hearts, teamwork, and Panther pride. 🧡🖤 #PantherPrideInTheClassroom @ PES and PMS

We want to see our students’ creativity over Thanksgiving break! We are looking for a fun, school-appropriate winter weather meme, graphic, or drawing created by our students to use in future snow day announcements. ⛄📢
Does your Panther have a great idea that will make us laugh, make us smile, and show off Palmyra pride! 🧡🖤
Families, submissions can be turned in to your student’s school office or emailed to Amber@ summersa@palmyrar1.us by Friday, December 5. We can’t wait to see all the creativity and look forward to sharing on future snow days!

Our 2nd grade students hit the stage today with their performance of “The Great Turkey Race,” and they did not disappoint! 🧡🖤
A packed house enjoyed popcorn and drinks while our talented young performers showed off their skills. 🎭✨
A special shoutout to Mrs. Redd, who directed the play and worked offstage to help performers with their costumes and cues. 👏🦃
Way to go, 2nd grade! What a great way to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday!
Mrs. Orr’s artists have been hard at work painting beautiful watercolor turkeys in art class! Our young creators explored color, texture, and patterns while bringing their fall masterpieces to life.
We love seeing their imagination shine! Great work Mrs. Orr and Panthers! 🍁🖌️ #PantherPrideInTheClassroom

What a fun night! 🧡🖤 Our Parents As Teachers families had a blast at Messy Play Night! 🎨✨ From squishy textures to colorful creations, our little learners explored, discovered, and got hands-on with activities designed to build motor skills, creativity, and confidence.
