🌾 Palmyra FFA Nationals Recap! 🌾
Congratulations to our Farm Management team for placing 6th in the nation — with Blaydn earning 6th place individually! 👏 The team was coached by Mr. Mahsman.
Our Floriculture team also shined on the national stage, placing 9th in the nation under the guidance of Mrs. Haeberlin. 🌸
In total, 24 Palmyra FFA members earned the trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis — including four sets of siblings! FFA is definitely a family friendly organization serving multiple generations through the years. 🚌💙💛
A huge thank you to Mr. Frankenbach and Mr. Mahsman for getting everyone to and from (and all around) Indianapolis safely, and to Mrs. Haeberlin for making sure our students knew where to go, were well-fed and had a place to lay their head each night.

Our 8th graders enrolled in Mrs. McBride's High School Prep class, had an exciting visit to the Hannibal Career & Technical Center this week! 👩🔧👨🍳🔧 They got a firsthand look at the amazing programs and career training available to students during their junior and senior years.
The visit also reminded students how important strong grades and good attendance are in high school — key factors for being accepted into HCTC.

🏃♀️ Our PHS Cross Country team competed today at Linn, MO in a very cold district meet! Congratulations to Audrey, who finished 25th overall and qualified for the State Meet at Gans Creek in Columbia next Saturday!

Emily and Marissa had a challenging first match vs Clever and fell to them 6-2, 6-2. They bounced back strong in the consolation bracket — winning an exciting tiebreaker 2-6, 6-3, 10-6 against Notre Dame (St. Louis)! 💪👏
They will take on Lutheran St. Charles later this afternoon. If they win that match, they will continue their State journey tomorrow. Let’s go, Panthers! 🐾🎾

Ms. Reeder's 6th grade STEM students recently finished their Tiny House projects and the results were incredible!
Before building, students learned what tiny homes are all about by discussing real-world limitations and watching an episode featuring tiny house living. From there, they took on every part of the process:
📝 Keeping attendance logs and daily paperwork
💰 Managing a budget and “shopping” at the class store
📐 Designing blueprints
🔨 Building their tiny homes using recycled and creative materials like egg cartons, popsicle sticks, straws, yarn, fabric, cereal boxes, buttons, and more!
Their creativity really shined through collaboration and problem-solving — some even used real hardwood flooring donated from Ms. Reeder’s own home renovation! 👏 #PantherPrideInTheClassroom
