🎭✨ Middle School Drama Boot Camp was a hit! 🎬

This week, 16 talented Panthers dove into the world of theater—learning about set design, stage makeup, and basic stage directions. Their hard work paid off in a hilarious and magical performance of “Donuts, Dragons, and the Forest of Fools” 🍩🐉🌳

Bravo to our young performers and a big thank you to Mrs. Bunten, Mrs. Courtney, Mrs. Fountain, and Ms. Reynolds, and for bringing the stage to life! 👏🎟️

One month from today is PES Meet the Teacher Back to School night for our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders! Monday, August 18th! ✏️📚

Pre-K and Kindergarten are less than a month away! Pre-K is scheduled on Wednesday, August 13th and Kindergarten is Thursday, August 14th. 🎒🍎

These freshman students represented FCCLA for the state of Missouri and our Palmyra FCCLA Chapter. The skills and leadership each student has gained and showed through the year, and during competition is evident.

We want to say how proud we are of Mr. Frankenbach, Lynton, Allie, and Laura! The PHS FBLA Broadcast Journalism team had a great year. They placed 2nd at the District 7 FBLA Leadership Conference, which led to their 2nd place finish at the Missouri State FBLA Leadership Conference, which took them to the National FBLA Leadership Conference this week. Making the top 16 teams was an amazing finish to their season 🌟!

While they didn’t advance to the Top 10 for on-stage recognition, their hard work, dedication, and professionalism shone throughout the competition. Representing our school and community on a national level is an outstanding achievement, and we could not be more proud.

Back to school Immunization Clinic will be held on August 4th!

🎉 Breaking news! 🎉 PHS FBLA Broadcast Journalism team made it to the finals!

They are in the top 16 teams nationwide and will perform their final "broadcast" this afternoon at the Anaheim Convention Center! The top 10 teams will be recognized at the Awards of Excellence Ceremony tomorrow night!

Congrats Mr. Frankenbach, Lynton, Laura and Allie! Sending you good luck vibes for your performance this afternoon from all your fans in Missouri! 🤩

FBLA Advisor, Mr. Frankenbach and his Broadcast Journalism national qualifying team, arrived in California and are enjoying one more practice session before competing later this afternoon at FBLA National Leadership Conference.

Lynton, Laura and Allie hope practicing under palm trees with abundant sunshine will push them into the finals tomorrow! We are proud of you Panthers and we wish you the best of luck this week!

During the school year, we enjoy celebrating our staff and showing appreciation for a job well done. While there is not an official “School Superintendent’s Day,” we have decided to change that! We are choosing June 30 — the last official day of our school year — to recognize and thank our Superintendent, Mr. Jason Harper. 🧡🖤 Thank you for always putting students first, supporting staff, and leading our district with heart, integrity, and excellence. Here’s to the difference you make every day — not just through your role, but through your goal to make our schools the very best they can be. 👏

Great progress at Palmyra Middle School! The office and entryway renovation is moving along very well and office walls are taking shape. We look forward to more office and meeting space and having a secure entry area for our students and staff this fall!

PHS construction is moving right along! The kitchen and FACS room are full blown demolition zones but great progress is happening. The locker rooms are taking shape with walls, new plumbing and wiring in place. We look forward to sharing further progress this summer and are very excited to see the finished project!

🤼‍♂️ Summer Wrestling Camp 2025! Our Panthers were hitting the mats this week and putting in the hard work to sharpen their skills, build strength, and grow as a team. From drills to takedowns, they are learning from the best and getting better every day! 💪🐾 Huge shoutout to Coaches Huffman, Williamson, and Hutchings for leading the charge and pushing our wrestlers to reach their full potential. 👊🔥

Students in Kindergarten Academy had the chance today to learn who their teacher will be when they head to PES in August! Little Panthers were given a certificate and they scratched off the gold circle to reveal the name and photo of their kindergarten teacher. If you have a kindergarten to be student in your life, ask them to tell you all about it! 📚✏️ Let the countdown to kindergarten begin - Class of 2038! 🐾🧡🖤

Our Palmyra Middle School summer school students collaborated with the students in Kindergarten Academy to create some Monster Magic! On Monday, the MS Panthers spent some time with the younger Panthers coloring a Monster Maker design sheet and then the Middle School students brought the felt monsters to life and delivered them today!
