Palmyra Middle School PACE students and Mrs. Gard took their studies outside! While exploring the creek behind the school, they made real-world connections to their unit on aquatic biomes. 🐟 The highlight of the day was bringing back creek creatures to add to the class aquarium! #PantherPrideInTheClassroom

✨ The Palmyra Middle School Maker Club kicked off the year with a great September meeting! Maker Club is an after-school opportunity for grades 5–8 where students can make, learn, create, explore, and share. ✨
Students had the chance to let their imaginations run wild during Exploratory Month, creating with cardboard and the chomp saw, Perler Beads, 3D pens, Legos, robotics, green screen fun, crafts, and NURCs.
This year, Mrs. Gottman and Mrs. Gard are excited to have 34 students signed up to join the adventure. September was all about free exploration, and we can’t wait to show off more projects as the year goes on! 🎉🔧🤖

🎯🏹 Ready, aim, focus!
Palmyra Middle School PE classes kicked off their archery unit, learning proper form, safety, and improving skills while testing their aim. There was even a student who hit the bullseye! . 🏹👏
Way to go Panthers—learning skills and having fun in PE! 🧡🖤 #PantherPrideInTheClassroom

🎵🥁🎶 Please join Palmyra Music Boosters for their first meeting of the school year on Monday, September 8 at 6pm in the Palmyra High School band room.
Panther families, join and help support our Palmyra music programs! 🎤🎼🐾

We know it can be hard to decide if your child is well enough for class. Nurse Jones and Nurse Hoewing would like to share some quick guidelines on when to keep students home — and when it is safe to send them back.
✅ Check out the graphic for tips on fevers, stomach bugs, sore throats, and more.
💡 A good rule of thumb: if your student isn’t feeling well enough to participate in learning or could spread illness to others, it is best to keep them home.
Thank you for helping us keep your Panthers and our schools healthy! 🐾

There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.
We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing holiday — see you back on Tuesday, September 2nd! 🧡🖤

✨ A huge shoutout to our custodial team! Thank you to Dave, Rachel & Adam, at PHS, Ashley & Jim at PES, Robyn, Tena, and Jenny at PMS - you are the true MVPs of back-to-school season! 👏
This summer, they have been working behind the scenes—scrubbing, waxing, moving, and tackling extra challenges with construction—just to make sure our schools were spotless and ready for the first day. 🧹🛠️
We also want to give a warm 🧡🖤 Welcome Back to Robyn and wish Jenny a very happy retirement! 🎉
We appreciate you all and are so happy you are part of the Palmyra Panther team! 🐾

As part of our renovation project, the Palmyra High School gym floor is being removed — and we would love for our community to have a piece of it!
🪵 Floor pieces will be available in front of the Palmyra High School gym entrance on Tuesday, September 2nd and Wednesday, September 3rd from 5:30 – 6:30 pm (while supplies last). Because of the way the floor was constructed, most pieces will be individual boards rather than large sections.
Take home a slice of Panther history and relive the games, cheers, and memories made on this court. 🧡🖤
(Please bring gloves — not responsible for accidents or splinters.)
