The 7th and 8th grade girls open the season tonight at home vs Liberty at 5 p.m., then hit the road to QND on Thursday.
The 7th grade boys and girls travel to Louisiana tomorrow to start their season.
Come out and cheer on our Panthers as they kick off the season! 🧡🖤

School will not be in session, Monday, November 10th for teacher in service. During that time, Officer Rathbone and the Palmyra Police Department will be hosting a multi-agency training event at PES, PMS, & PHS, from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. Participating agencies include:

Please do not be alarmed if you see an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area. This is a planned training exercise only and part of our commitment to keeping our schools and community safe.

November's Middle School Maker Club was hard at work! This month, they created holiday gifts to donate to the First Christian Church’s Children’s Christmas Store. They are also working with LEGO Education Spike Essential kits and creating stop-motion videos.

🏡✨ Tiny House Project in 6th Grade STEM! ✨🏡
Ms. Reeder's 6th grade STEM students recently finished their Tiny House projects and the results were incredible!
Before building, students learned what tiny homes are all about by discussing real-world limitations and watching an episode featuring tiny house living. From there, they took on every part of the process:
📝 Keeping attendance logs and daily paperwork
💰 Managing a budget and “shopping” at the class store
📐 Designing blueprints
🔨 Building their tiny homes using recycled and creative materials like egg cartons, popsicle sticks, straws, yarn, fabric, cereal boxes, buttons, and more!
Their creativity really shined through collaboration and problem-solving — some even used real hardwood flooring donated from Ms. Reeder’s own home renovation! 👏 #PantherPrideInTheClassroom

🥈 Boys Team – 2nd Place, just one point shy of 1st!

Palmyra Middle School 8th grade students attended the Career Expo in Hannibal this morning.
The students joined other area schools where they explored different industries, met professionals, and discovered future opportunities.
A big thank-you to our MS Counselor, Mrs. McBride and to all who helped organize this hands-on learning experience for area students! 🙌

Our 5th graders had a great day exploring Palmyra’s history! 🏛️📜
Students toured several local landmarks, including the Old Marion County Jail Museum, the Marion County Courthouse, and Big Spring Park, and also enjoyed a historical bus tour around town. They listened to presentations by the Stuhlman Brothers about wagon making and even had the chance to climb aboard a Stuhlman Bros. wagon! The day wrapped up with lunch and exploration at Flower City Park.
