What a great day at PES! The Science Fair was held today, showcasing the 53 1st-4th grade students that participated! It was a busy morning, full of experimentation and learning.
Ribbons earned by participants will be presented during the school’s Awards Day in May. A Science Expert for each grade level will also be awarded at that time. Ms. Knoche and Mrs. Gard thank all of those who helped make the Science Fair a success, especially the judges: Kaitlynn McElvain, Ken Zielinski, and Jabin Johnson from BASF.
PES will be open tomorrow during the basketball tournament for public viewing of the Science Fair projects in the cafeteria.

Due to wet field conditions at Flower City Park, tonight's baseball game will be played at the Veterans Elementary Sports Complex in Hannibal.

Yesterday was a beautiful spring day and a successful day for our HS athletes! Golf had a strong day at Centralia winning the match with Jonas as medalist, with Skeeter and Gavin as the runner-ups!
Baseball picked up a big win against Elsberry, 10-0.
High School track has their first meet tomorrow at Bowling Green and Middle School heads to Montgomery County on Friday for their first meet.

Palmyra Elementary had a great morning celebration with CJ Luckey! Our Panthers have been starting their day in the gym with his Good Morning song during the morning assembly on Tuesday and Thursday's and it was so much fun to sing it with him in person today! Ask your student what songs and lessons they learned today with CJ!
PHS Golf travels to Centralia today for their season opener at the Centralia Community Golf Course. Looks like it will be a beautiful day to hit the links! The team finished strong last year and we look forward to seeing how far they can go this year! Good luck Panthers!

PES Science Fair begins on Thursday! We have a large number of young scientists ready to show off their knowledge to the judges and their projects to the public on Friday. The school will be open for viewing projects during the 4th grade basketball tournament.

Palmyra FFA will be hosting an area practice contest tomorrow at the high school. They have invited teams from around Northeast MO to compete in 11 CDE's! Good luck to all competitors!
PES 3rd grade Panthers ventured across the river today and enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine before they attended the Quincy Symphony Orchestra! Thank you to the teachers who braved the cold and wind to have a fun day with the students!

Last night, we had a fantastic turn-out for the PACE Open House! Thanks to all of the students, families, and community members who showed up to celebrate the hard work and fun activities that take place in the PACE classroom.
To celebrate Read Across America Week, PHS Student Council stopped in at Palmyra Elementary and visited with the kindergarten classes and read books! Looks like it was a great learning experience for young and old(er) Panthers!
