PES 4th graders took a trip to Scotties to spend their hard earned money. The trip was funded by the students through their entrepreneurship unit. The students opened the Snack Attack Shack during the annual 4th grade basketball tournament and used the profits to fund this fun field trip! The students wish to thank all their customers and parents for supporting them in this endeavor!

The 6th grade FACS classes have been working on hand sewing and made their own pillow! They learned how to thread a needle, three different ways to make knots in the thread, two stitches, the running stitch and the overcast (whip) stitch. During the semester they also learned about needle and scissor safety! Great projects Panthers!

🚚📚 Truck Rally Fun with Parents as Teachers 📚🚚
What a wheelie great night! Families had a blast at our PAT Truck Rally, where little Panthers got to climb, explore, and honk their way through an amazing lineup of big trucks and emergency vehicles and even a helicopter! 🚒🚓🚛
Thanks to all the families who joined us and to all the community supporters who made this hands-on learning experience unforgettable. It is events like these that help build strong connections between home, school, and the community and we have the BEST community!
Big shout out to our PAT crew - Kathy, Bonnie, Jenifer, Tiffany & Delaina for organizing this amazing event!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎📚
This week, we celebrate the heart of our schools—our teachers! Their dedication, creativity, and compassion shape not only classrooms, but entire futures. Whether it is staying late to help a student, finding new ways to inspire curiosity, or offering a kind word at just the right time, our teachers go above and beyond every single day.
To all the educators who make learning come alive—you are appreciated more than words can say. Thank you for being mentors, role models, and everyday heroes.

The 5th grade science club finished off their year diving into the world of water! This month they explored hydrophobic vs hydrophilic properties and learning how different materials interact with water. They made toothpick stars, used a micropipette to slowly collect water droplets on top of a penny, and experimented with magic sand to see how it reacts with water - spoiler alert, it doesn't mix!
Huge thank you to our amazing Science Club facilitator, Dr. Judy Lemons, and our dedicated science teacher, Ms. Manzke, for guiding our young explorers through many hands-on discoveries this year!

Congratulations to Laura! She performed today at the 2025 MSHSAA Music Festival in Columbia and earned a Bronze medal for her flute solo!
