We are in the home stretch! 🏁 Crews have been working hard all summer at the Elementary and Middle School campuses, and we are excited to share that everything is on track to be ready before the first day of school on August 20th! 🛠️📚

The High School projects will be ongoing with the hope that the kitchen and classrooms will be finished by early to mid-
September. The locker rooms and gymnasium will be the final projects completed and that will fall in mid-
October.

From fresh finishes to improved safety, these updates will make a big impact for our students and staff. Thank you for your patience and support as we wrap up the final touches! 👷‍♀️🧡🖤🐾

📣 Middle School Registration begins Monday, August 4th! 🐾🧡🖤

We are excited to welcome our Panthers back for a great school year! During registration week, students can find their lockers, view their schedule, get important back-to-school info and ask any questions to help them prepare for the new school year!

Registration will be 8:00 am - 11:30 am, with a break for lunch and then reopen from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

8th grade: Monday, August 4th
7th grade: Tuesday, August 5th
6th grade: Wednesday, August 6th
5th grade: Thursday, August 7th
Make-up and New Students: Friday, August 8th

5th grade orientation will be held Monday, August 11th at 6:00 pm in the Middle School gym.

🎭✨ Middle School Drama Boot Camp was a hit! 🎬

This week, 16 talented Panthers dove into the world of theater—learning about set design, stage makeup, and basic stage directions. Their hard work paid off in a hilarious and magical performance of “Donuts, Dragons, and the Forest of Fools” 🍩🐉🌳

Bravo to our young performers and a big thank you to Mrs. Bunten, Mrs. Courtney, Mrs. Fountain, and Ms. Reynolds, and for bringing the stage to life! 👏🎟️

Reminder: Attendance & School Activities 🚨 Students, remember that if you are absent from school on a given day, you are not allowed to attend any school activities that same day. This includes games, dances, practices, and any other school-sponsored events. If you have any questions, please check with the office. Let’s make sure we’re following the rules and staying accountable!

Palmyra Middle Reminder: Early release today at 1:05. No school- Friday, October 25th. Remember today is Parent/ Teacher Conference from 1:30-7:00. Book fair will open at 3:00 pm

Palmyra Middle Reminder: No School, Monday, September 23rd. Teacher in-service day. When we return on Tuesday it will be an B day.

Palmyra R-1 Schools will not be in session Thursday, February 17th, 2022 due to impending winter weather.

PHS and PMS Parents : In the near future (depending on shipping), Palmyra R-I Schools will be replacing the current student iPads with new iPads. In case iPads are delivered over Christmas break, we are asking that students leave their iPads at the school over the break. If your child is going to be absent on December 22, please have them leave their iPad with their advisory/homeroom teacher on their last day of school for this semester. Thank You

Palmyra R-1 buses will travel main roads only routes on Friday, February 19, 2021. Buses will return to regular routes on Monday, February 22nd. The PES, MS, and PHS Facebook pages have posted the letter detailing main roads only pick up points.

Palmyra R-1 Schools will be closed Thursday, February 18, 2021.
