Palmyra Middle School and Palmyra High School Cross Country started their season at Keokuk today! Great day for a run and great performance by all the Panthers!

We know it can be hard to decide if your child is well enough for class. Nurse Jones and Nurse Hoewing would like to share some quick guidelines on when to keep students home — and when it is safe to send them back.

💡 A good rule of thumb: if your student isn’t feeling well enough to participate in learning or could spread illness to others, it is best to keep them home.

🎶🖤🧡 PHS Panther Band, Color Guard, and Poms brought the spirit and energy to the Pittsfield Fall Festival Parade today! 🎺✨ We are proud of Mrs. Gingerich, Coach Frankenbach, and these students for representing Palmyra with talent, rhythm, and Panther pride. 🐾🧡🖤
✨ A huge shoutout to our custodial team! Thank you to Dave, Rachel & Adam, at PHS, Ashley & Jim at PES, Robyn, Tena, and Jenny at PMS - you are the true MVPs of back-to-school season! 👏
This summer, they have been working behind the scenes—scrubbing, waxing, moving, and tackling extra challenges with construction—just to make sure our schools were spotless and ready for the first day. 🧹🛠️

As part of our renovation project, the Palmyra High School gym floor is being removed — and we would love for our community to have a piece of it!
🪵 Floor pieces will be available in front of the Palmyra High School gym entrance on Tuesday, September 2nd and Wednesday, September 3rd from 5:30 – 6:30 pm (while supplies last). Because of the way the floor was constructed, most pieces will be individual boards rather than large sections.
Take home a slice of Panther history and relive the games, cheers, and memories made on this court. 🧡🖤
