Friday, August 15th, Officer Rathbone and the Palmyra Police Department will be hosting a multi-agency training event at the Palmyra Middle School, from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Participating agencies include:

Marion County Sheriff’s Office
Missouri State Highway Patrol
Marion County Ambulance District
Palmyra Fire Protection District
Please do not be alarmed if you see an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area. This is a planned training exercise only and part of our commitment to keeping our schools and community safe.

1️⃣ Complete Online Registration for each family by 3 pm on Friday!
2️⃣ Fill out the Online Free & Reduced Meals Application – even if you are unsure if you qualify, submitting helps our school! 🍎
3️⃣ Submit Updated Shot Records to the school office.

This year, Free and Reduced Lunch Applications will be filled out online. Families who complete the form by Friday, August 15 will have their annual iPad fee waived.

We strongly encourage all families to submit this form—even if you do not think you will qualify.

We are in the home stretch! 🏁 Crews have been working hard all summer at the Elementary and Middle School campuses, and we are excited to share that everything is on track to be ready before the first day of school on August 20th! 🛠️📚
The High School projects will be ongoing with the hope that the kitchen and classrooms will be finished by early to mid-
September. The locker rooms and gymnasium will be the final projects completed and that will fall in mid-
October.
From fresh finishes to improved safety, these updates will make a big impact for our students and staff. Thank you for your patience and support as we wrap up the final touches! 👷♀️🧡🖤🐾

This week, 16 talented Panthers dove into the world of theater—learning about set design, stage makeup, and basic stage directions. Their hard work paid off in a hilarious and magical performance of “Donuts, Dragons, and the Forest of Fools” 🍩🐉🌳
Bravo to our young performers and a big thank you to Mrs. Bunten, Mrs. Courtney, Mrs. Fountain, and Ms. Reynolds, and for bringing the stage to life! 👏🎟️

This year, our Back to School Immunization clinic will be held on the same day as the registration day for incoming 8th and 12th graders.
The immunization clinic for incoming 8th graders will be held at Palmyra Middle School, Monday August 4, 8 am - 3 pm.

Students, remember that if you are absent from school on a given day, you are not allowed to attend any school activities that same day. This includes games, dances, practices, and any other school-sponsored events.

Palmyra R-1 Schools will not be in session Thursday, February 17th, 2022 due to impending winter weather.
PHS and PMS Parents : In the near future (depending on shipping), Palmyra R-I Schools will be replacing the current student iPads with new iPads. In case iPads are delivered over Christmas break, we are asking that students leave their iPads at the school over the break. If your child is going to be absent on December 22, please have them leave their iPad with their advisory/homeroom teacher on their last day of school for this semester. Thank You
