🎃📚 Our Pre-K students had a BIG day of fun acting out the story from the book Big Pumpkin by Erica Silverman!
🍂 Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Schindler have plenty of fall-themed books lined up this month and will be exploring the pumpkin life cycle with their students.

📚 A big thank you to our local Kiwanis Club for their generous donation of dictionaries to our 3rd grade students! Each year, Kiwanis members make sure every 3rd grader has their very own dictionary to support learning, literacy, and a love of words.

Palmyra Elementary students enrolled in the ASP Book Club have been hard at work practicing their read-aloud skills — focusing on expression, confidence, respect, and kindness. Once a month with PES Librarian, Ms. Lehenbauer, they take those stories on the road to Maple Lawn, where they share books (and lots of smiles!) with the residents.
It is a joy to watch the students and residents light up as they connect through reading. The laughter, conversations, and moments they share melt hearts every time. 🧡🖤
We are so proud of our Panthers for showing what it means to learn, grow, and spread kindness beyond the classroom! 🐾

PES Counselor, Cindy Livesay is pictured with Kelly accepting the donation. Mrs. Livesay said the PAWS Pack program currently serves over 100 students and provides food to students on a weekly basis.
Due to the rising cost in the market, we are asking for financial assistance from community members/businesses who would like to get involved. Community support helps PES provide weekend meals for students in need, and we are so grateful for your partnership in caring for our Panther families. 🧡🖤
