Our 3rd graders brought history to life during their Famous Missourians Wax Museum Open House — and what an incredible showcase it was!
Students researched influential Missourians, created props and costumes, and stepped into character to share what they have learned with families, staff, and classmates. From athletes and artists to explorers, inventors, and leaders, our gym was filled with Missouri history brought to life in the most creative way.
We are so proud of their hard work, confidence, and excitement for learning. 💫
Thank you to our families for coming out to support our students and celebrate their amazing projects!

What is Parents as Teachers Day? The vision for this day is to strive for a future where every family feels seen, supported, and strengthened from the very beginning. It is a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible impact of home visitors, parent educators, and early childhood champions who walk alongside families every step of their child’s early years. From pregnancy through preschool, they ensure every child has the strongest possible start — and remind us of the power of meeting families with support that truly helps them. 💕
Join us in honoring the stories, voices, and milestones that define this movement.
In Palmyra, we are proud to celebrate our own Parents as Teachers team — Early Childhood Coordinator Kathy Nicholson and parent educators, Jenifer and Tiffany, and administrative assistant, Bonnie — for the incredible work they do supporting our youngest learners and their families.
Thank you for walking beside our families, strengthening connections, and helping Palmyra’s children grow, learn, and thrive! 🧡🖤
